How to Play
How to Play
- Select 3 numbers each from 0-9, or select "Quick Pick" and the computer will randomly select the numbers for you. The same numbers may be used more than once
- Choose the type of wager you want to play and choose the amount you want to wager
Wager Types:
- Straight – Match winning three numbers in exact order
– Example: if lottery draws 7-9-1, your numbers must be 7-9-1 in this order to win
- Box – Match winning three numbers in any order
– Example: if lottery draws 7-9-1, your numbers can be 7-9-1 in any order
- Straight/Box – Match winning numbers in exact or any order
– Example: if lottery draws 7-9-1, your numbers must be 7-9-1in this order to win the straight payout
– Or if your numbers match 7-9-1 in any other order you win the box payout
- Pairs – Match your winning pair numbers (Front Pair, Back Pair, or Split Pair) in exact order. For example:
– Front Pair – Match first two winning numbers in exact order
– Back Pair – Match last two winning numbers in exact order
– Split Pair – Match first and last winning numbers in exact order
- Super Straight – Match winning three numbers in any order and win the straight payout
– Example: if lottery draws 7-9-1, your numbers can be 7-9-1 in any order

Additional Play Options
- Choose the amount you want to wager (50¢ to $10.00)
- Choose the DRAWTIME you want to play, (Midday - approximately 1:20 p.m. e.s.t., Evening - approximately 11:00 p.m. e.s.t., or Both). There is no Midday draw on Sunday
- Choose the number of drawings you want to play your numbers (2-7 consecutive drawings)
- You can play any day, up to seven days in advance, Sunday-Saturday by choosing ADVANCE play
Claiming your Prize
To claim a prize, sign the back of your winning ticket. Prizes may be claimed the next business day after the drawing. Prizes up to $600 may be redeemed at any Kentucky Lottery Pick 3 retailer. Prizes up to $5,000 may be claimed at any authorized cashing agent or by mailing your winning ticket and a completed claim form (available at any Lottery retailer) to the Kentucky Lottery Corporation, Claims Dept. 100, Louisville, KY 40287-0001. Prizes up to $25,000 may be claimed at selected Kentucky Lottery Regional Offices, and prizes over $25,000 must be claimed at the Kentucky Lottery Headquarters at 1011 West Main Street, Louisville, KY 40202.
Prizes must be claimed within 180 days after drawing date. Prizes of $50 or higher that are claimed more than 90 days after drawing date must be claimed at Lottery Headquarters or Regional Office if under $25,000.
