Responsible for performing highly specialized accounting work required to maintain the Kentucky Lottery Corporation’s general ledger. Directs and coordinates the daily activities of the accounting staff to quickly and accurately record the revenues, expenditures, assets, and liabilities of the Kentucky Lottery Corporation. Manage the Accounting, Retail Accounting, and Accounts Payable/Validations departments to ensure the accurate and timely performance of the following functions: Accounts Payable, Retail Accounting, Payroll, Prize Validation, General Ledger, and Investments. Provides guidance and direction to staff. Responsible for evaluating, developing, and implementing policies and procedures as they relate to the functions listed above.
