Our Purchasing Department is responsible for the acquisition of goods and services ranging from the routine to the very complex. The purchasing process plays a key role in the support of the Kentucky Lottery's mission and strategic objectives by providing an effective and efficient purchasing process. Procurement actions are conducted in a fair and impartial manner, allowing all suppliers the opportunity to participate in the solicitation process.

Acquisitions are made using several purchasing procedures including; Invitation for Bid (IFB); Request for Proposal (RFP); Request for Quote (RFQ) written; Telephone Quote (an informal competitive quote); a Commonwealth of Kentucky State Contract or General Services Administration (GSA) contracts.
