What is Powerball Xs & Os?

Xs & Os is a new national draw game featuring NFL team logos instead of numbers. Players pick teams, and winning results are determined through a random draw.

Is this a Powerball game?

No. Xs & Os is a completely separate, stand alone draw game. It is not part of Powerball and does not use Powerball numbers or drawing results.

Do I need to buy Powerball to play this?

No. Xs & Os is sold independently. No Powerball purchase is required.

Are the results tied to NFL games?

No. NFL game results have no impact on this game. Winning team logos are selected through a random draw not based on real outcomes.

Sunday at 10:00 PM ET.

The jackpot starts at $1 million. It rolls until won, can grow with each draw, and may be split among multiple winners (pari-mutuel).

Every Powerball Xs & Os™ ticket is eligible to win a cash prize, including the jackpot prize, in the weekly Sunday night drawing.  In addition, every eligible ticket can be entered at www.PowerballOfficial.com for the chance to win NFL prizes in the national Powerball Xs & Os™ promotional prize program. 

How to enter to win a prize in the Promotional Prize Program?

Create an account at www.PowerballOfficial.com.

As the first step of the account creation process, select the Lottery where you typically purchase your Powerball Xs & Os™ tickets.

For Powerball Xs & Os™ tickets purchased at retail, enter your ticket manually or scan to enter at www.PowerballOfficial.com to earn points which will be added to your Powerball Official account.

For Powerball Xs & Os™ tickets purchased online, link your Powerball Official account to your Fun Club account at powerballofficial.com to have points earned from your iLottery ticket purchases automatically added to your Powerball Official account. Tickets purchased prior to linking will not earn points. Points are typically added to your Powerball Official account within 24 hours, but it could take up to 48 hours.

1 entry point is earned for each $1 spent. For example – a $5 Play = 5 points.

The points that you’ve earned can then be used to enter into the promotional prize drawing(s).   

Promotional prize drawings run year-round and the prizes in each drawing vary. Available prizes include a trip to Super Bowl LXI, NFL game ticket packages, NFL Shop gift cards to purchase your favorite NFL officially licensed products, and other unique NFL experiences. New prizes will be added regularly, so make sure to keep checking www.PowerballOfficial.com. Prize availability, details, and fulfillment are subject to the official rules.

Important Notes:

1. Both winning and non-winning tickets can be entered.
2. Tickets must be entered within 90 days of the last drawing date on your ticket and may only be entered once.
3. Any iLottery purchasses made prior to linking your Fun Club account to your Powerball Official account will not be transferred over.
4. Choose the prizes you want a chance to win by submitting your points into the respective drawings. You can enter multiple drawings, and you can move your points from one drawing to another prior to the drawing taking place.
5. Winners will be drawn at random and notified by email, text or phone call.

What happens if a ticket does not win in the draw?

The ticket can still be entered into promotional drawings for additional prizes.

How does promotional entry work?

Players must create an account on PowerballOfficial.com to earn points for their Powerball Xs & Os purchase.

Players who purchase a retail ticket will visit www.PowerballOfficial.com to manually enter their ticket to receive points (5 points per $5 ticket) for available prizes.

Retail tickets are valid to be entered for 90 days following the date of the drawing printed on the ticket.

Players who purchase online using their Fun Club account will need to link their Fun Club account to the PowerballOfficial.com account on the same day of the purchase to gain points. Prior to linking an iLottery account, points will not be awarded for previous Xs & Os online purchases. Once linked, all Xs & Os tickets purchased that same calendar day and thereafter will be awarded points.
